Team Rapids

Application for Funding

Team Rapids is a perpetual endowed fund held at the Incourage Community Foundation in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Our founding committee members and dedicated volunteers work to raise awareness and secure funding from alumni, local businesses, and community supporters. These funds provide a sustainable, long-term impact for our youth.

Application Criteria

Who may apply?

Any community member connected with an organized group, club or team in the Wisconsin Rapids area (including W.R.P.S. and the greater South Wood County region).

How to Apply for Funding

Email your application anytime during the year to: teamrapidstech@gmail.com

What funding requests will be considered?

Requests will be considered when they align with one or more of the pillars of Team Rapids:
• W.R.P.S. teams & clubs
• Applications that will increase participation in sports, clubs, or activities
• When possible, support for other youth programs in the greater Wisconsin Rapids area

Funding Criteria

Applications are evaluated based on the following:

  1. How the request meets one or more of the pillars of Team Rapids
  2. The identified need for the grant
  3. What has been done or has been done to accomplish funding at this point
  4. How the funds will be used or distributed
  5. Whether the effect of the grant can be measured
  6. Whether this is for a one-time funding situation or ongoing annual funding
