Team-Rapids Endowment Fund
TEAM RAPIDS is a dedicated endowment fund established with the Incourage Community Foundation. Our mission is to support football, athletic teams, and non-funded club activities within the Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools (W.R.P.S.). We're passionate about breaking down the barriers that keep youth from participating in extracurriculars—and sharing the lifelong value of experiences that happen outside the classroom.

Our Mission
To ensure every student in the Wisconsin Rapids community has the opportunity to participate in a sport, club, or extracurricular activity—regardless of financial limitations.
Our Pillars
W.R.P.S. Football Program
Helping cover essential expenses for grades 6–12 that fall outside district funding.
Increase Participation
Removing barriers like transportation costs and participation fees, while promoting the lifelong value of extracurricular involvement.
W.R.P.S. Area Teams & Clubs
Providing support for underfunded athletic teams and school clubs in our district.
Support Local
When funds permit, expanding our reach to support additional youth programs in the greater Wisconsin Rapids area.
Where is the Team Rapids Fund Held?
TEAM RAPIDS is a perpetual, endowed fund held at the Incourage Community Foundation in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Our founding committee members and dedicated volunteers work year-round to raise awareness and secure funding from alumni, local businesses, and community supporters. These funds provide sustainable, long-term impact for our youth.
How it Works
Each year, TEAM RAPIDS distributes dividends earned on the endowed amount:
• A designated portion supports the W.R.P.S. Football Program.
• Remaining funds are granted based on alignment with our mission pillars.
As the endowment grows, so does our capacity to give—creating a lasting legacy for future generations.

About Team Rapids
Our Story
TEAM RAPIDS was born from a generous contribution made by Lincoln High School Football alumni who wanted to give back to the program that shaped them. Through football, they learned accountability, resilience, hard work, and the power of a positive mindset.
Originally created to support middle and high school football programs beyond what district budgets could cover, the fund now reaches further—aiming to support all students with a desire to join a team, club, or activity.
Too often, school clubs rely on outside fundraising or participation fees just to stay alive. TEAM RAPIDS is committed to changing that by creating more opportunities and fewer obstacles for youth participation.
